Veo Observer XT
The more things stay the same, the more they change!
The camera in the living room is now a Veo Observer XT. Outwardly, it looks exactly like the Veo Observer that used to be in the living room, except this one is quite different.

Control. If more than one person is viewing the XT, control is given to the person who first requests control. If additional people request control, they are put in a queue. When you are in control, click Release Control to pass control to the next person in line. Play nice!
Java mode. Viewing the camera with Java enables both remote control and audio.
Java software
• Java™ Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.4.2 or higher (download)
• Java™ Media Framework (JMF) 2.1.1 or higher (download)
NOTE: JMF is required for sound
JPEG Refresh mode. If you don't have Java and don't want to install it, you can see live video as a jpeg picture that refreshes very rapidly. In this mode you cannot control the camera, and you cannot hear audio.
