| The usual suspects assembled Chez Paul to give thanks, feast, and slake their thirsts.

As usual, I roasted the turkey, made the dressing, gravy, and cranberries while the others filled in with side dishes and dessert. If a granite countertop could groan, it would have groaned under the weight all all the food.

While sitting at the table that afternoon, I happened to look out toward the low mountains to the northeast, and lo and behold, they were covered with snow! Clouds were too low to check out the higher mountains, but the next day it cleared and revealed snow everywhere!

A few days later, it was time for the now traditional turkey soup. This happened to coincide with Réal's birthday, so I took the opportunity to pass on the voodoo doll that has lurked in my closet for a couple of years.
